How does it work?
Using Micro-Suspension Technology™, InstaLift® is the only non-surgical procedure that immediately lifts your mid-facial skin while adding volume over time that may be long-lasting.
A small incision is made in the hairline and suture containing micro-cones are placed in the deepest layer of the skin. These sutures are then pulled superiorly and tied into place, thus elevating the midface. These bi-directional cones provide an immediate and long-lasting lift. The micro-cones and sutures are absorbed by the body and activate your natural collagen production overtime for up to 2 years, for a more youthful appearance.
This procedure can be combined with fillers to add increased volume to the midface area.
Who is a good candidate?
InstaLift® is most often recommended for women in their mid-30s to mid-50s who have good skin quality/elasticity but want to improve their nasolabial fold and/or sagging in their cheeks. If you look in the mirror and lift your cheeks, wishing they could revert to where they once were and envision the youthful appearance they once had, then this procedure could be right for you.
What should you do before the procedure?
It is important to talk to your doctor about your expectations and desires. Also, be sure to tell your doctor or any surgeries and/or injectables you have had in your face. You and your doctor can then come up with an individual treatment plan that meets your needs.
What will my experience be like during the procedure?
The InstaLift® procedure takes place either in our office or in an outpatient surgery center. General anesthesia is not required. If you choose not to be sedated you will feel pricks and burning when the local anesthetic is injected. After that, the procedure is relatively painless and takes less than an hour.
What should I expect after treatment?
Your procedure will only take about an hour and you can go home right afterward. If you do receive sedation you will need someone to drive you home.
InstaLift® has minimal downtime but you may have some bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the treatment site. You might notice small dimples in the skin. These will disappear with a massage in less than 2 weeks.
Your physician will give you post-treatment recommendations and an aftercare program to follow to ensure the best possible result.
