Adam T. Mueller, OD, FAAO

Dr. Adam MullerDr. Adam Mueller joined Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in November 2022 as a consultative optometrist. Originally from Minnesota, he completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s University in Winona, MN. He then received his Doctorate of Optometry with honors from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN in 2015. During his senior year at IU, Dr. Mueller spent three months with us at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers as an intern.

Dr. Mueller completed a postdoctoral residency in Refractive and Ocular Surgery & Ocular Disease at BVA Eyecare & nJoy Vision in Oklahoma City, OK in 2016. During his residency he became proficient in the use of lasers to treat eye diseases as well as of pre and post-operative management. Furthermore, Dr. Mueller had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside esteemed cornea specialists during residency. He is well trained to manage the intricacies of both corneal and cataract refractive surgeries. Dr. Mueller has participated in pre FDA approved studies for corneal cross-linking procedures for the treatment of keratoconus and received certification to perform photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) procedures through Northeastern State University Oklahoma School of Optometry.

Dr. Mueller became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2016 and is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Louisville Glaucoma Society and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

For the last six years Dr. Mueller has been practicing in the Louisville area at Dr. Mark Lynn and Associates where he gained ample experience providing better vision through glasses, contact lenses, and medical care for patients of all ages.

In his free time, Dr. Mueller enjoys spending time with his wife and two chocolate labs, traveling to exotic places, and generally being outdoors. Dr. Mueller and his wife are currently working on their dream property in Oldham County where they soon hope to live and start a hobby farm.
