Jeremy Caylor, OD – Optometric Resident

Dr. Jeremy Caylor joined Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in 2023 to pursue his post-doctoral training in ocular disease management as a resident optometrist. Originally from Tipton, Indiana, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Butler University. He then attended Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating at the top of his class. Among other accolades, he was the recipient of the Indiana Optometric Association’s Jack Bennett Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Caylor completed his clinical externship training with an emphasis in ocular disease at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers. He has also completed clinical rotations at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska. Dr. Caylor has received training in a number of other optometric sub-specialties including primary care, low vision rehabilitation, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and binocular vision while at Indiana University.

Dr. Caylor is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Kentucky Optometric Association. During his free time, he enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, running, and a variety of sports.
