Meet Dr. Dmitruk

Sergei Dmitruk, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract surgery, refractive vision correction, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Known for his technical precision and warm, patient-centered approach, Dr. Dmitruk is dedicated to helping his patients achieve their best possible vision by tailoring treatments to their specific lifestyles.

Dr. Dmitruk completed his undergraduate education in Integrative Physiology with a certificate in Neuroscience at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After earning his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Dmitruk completed a surgically intensive ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Dmitruk utilizes the absolute forefront of ophthalmic technology. He is a high-volume cataract surgeon who specializes in both laser and non-laser cataract surgery, utilizing premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) that reduce or eliminate dependence on glasses, including Light Adjustable Lenses (LAL), multifocals, and Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) platforms. He also specializes in refractive lens exchange, implanting intraocular contact lenses (ICL), and utilizing advanced micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) modalities to help patients manage intraocular pressure. Additionally, he provides surgical care for ocular surface conditions, including pterygiums, pingueculas, and conjunctival cysts.

Dr. Dmitruk is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dmitruk is an avid history enthusiast, traveler, and hiker who loves discovering the world. Above all, he enjoys making breakfast for his family on Saturday mornings and spending time with his wife, their two children, and their cat Kesha.
