B. Matthew Blair, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers, serving patients in the Louisville area. Dr. Blair specializes in anterior segment eye surgery. His services include cataract and refractive cataract surgery, and management and treatment of glaucoma and diabetes.
Dr. Blair joined Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in 2016 as a Surgical and Consultative Ophthalmologist. As a Kentucky native, he earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kentucky. Upon completion of his ophthalmology residency in 2003, Dr. Blair joined Bluegrass Eye Center.
Because of Dr. Blair’s deep-rooted heart for the Bluegrass, he built an impressive career with Bluegrass Eye Center. Dr. Blair is widely published in ophthalmology journals and has lectured extensively throughout the region. He is actively involved in serving the communities of Oldham, Jefferson, and surrounding counties.
Dr. Blair is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
