Molly Isaacs, O.D., is an ocular disease resident optometrist at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers, serving patients in the Louisville area.
Dr. Isaacs is originally from Floyds Knobs, IN and began her college career at Indiana University, where she studied Biology and Egyptology. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University with Summa Cum Laude GPA. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry at the Indiana University School of Optometry (IUSO), where she graduated with honors.
While at IUSO, Dr. Isaacs served as an Associate Instructor for Systemic Approach to Biomedical Sciences. She completed a 6-month ocular disease clinical externship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, as well as a three-month Binocular Vision and Pediatric rotation at Mooney Eyecare in Louisville, Kentucky.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dr. Isaacs served as the President of the IUSO Student Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry, Vice-President of the Contact Lens Club, and Silent Auction chair of the IUSO Student Chapter of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH). She also held active memberships in the Ocular Disease and Pediatrics clubs. In 2024, she aided in the mission to provide eye care for underprivileged children in Jamaica through her student chapter of VOSH.
She is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the American Optometric Association. Outside of eyecare, Dr. Isaacs enjoys powerlifting, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Callie.
