Meet Dr. Hatoum

Jade Hatoum, O.D., is a newly graduated resident optometrist at Bennett and Bloom Eye Centers, serving patients at the Hurstbourne location, as well as other offices. She is excited to be delivering the most leading-edge and progressive eye care for all areas of ocular disease for her patients in Louisville.

Dr. Hatoum is originally from Syria and grew up in Ottawa, Canada and has traveled and lived many places around the world. She earned her Bachelor of Optometry in England, and has experience working in hospitals in the UK as an optometrist providing excellent and advanced eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, and is specializing in Ocular Disease as a resident at Bennett and Bloom Eye Centers.

Outside of practicing optometry, Dr. Hatoum loves to stay active. She is an avid gym-goer and practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and aerial sports like aerial hoop and aerial silks. She is super sociable and outgoing, and very passionate about her work and her patients.
