Meet Dr. Pasley

Alexandra Pasley, O.D., is a consultative optometrist at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers. She provides top-quality optometric care to her patients in the Louisville area.

Dr. Pasley joined Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in 2025. She is originally from Collierville, TN and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

During her doctoral studies, Dr. Pasley was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence. She was also actively involved in Students Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH), through which she provided eye care services to underserved populations, including during a clinical outreach mission to Cartagena, Colombia.

Following the completion of her optometric education, Dr. Pasley pursued a competitive 13-month residency in ocular disease and ocular/refractive surgery at the Eye Center of Texas in Houston. Upon completion of her residency, she remained with Eye Center of Texas, where she developed advanced clinical proficiency in the diagnosis and management of complex ocular pathologies, as well as in the pre- and post-operative care of various ocular surgeries.

Dr. Pasley is an active member of the Kentucky Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, spending quality time with family and friends, and cheering on her favorite sports teams
