Dr. Kelley Sedlock received her optometric degree with honors at The Ohio State University. She founded the Ocular Disease Club at the College of Optometry and presided over the club for two years, hosting events for hundreds of students as well as optometrists, ophthalmologists, and sponsors. In addition, Dr. Sedlock was voted by faculty to receive the Clinical Excellence in Advanced Ocular Care Award for the class of 2019.
Her optometric training included specialty clinics in ocular disease, primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, binocular vision, community outreach, and low vision. She completed externships with an emphasis on ocular disease at the Columbus VA Medical Center, Columbus Ophthalmology Associates, and Roholt Vision Institute in Canton, Ohio. While in school, Dr. Sedlock held two part time jobs in Columbus that aided her clinical learning and experience; she was a vision therapist at Galloway Eye Care Professionals and an ophthalmology technician in the neuro-ophthalmology department at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Sedlock is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Ohio Optometric Association. She received the honor of student fellowship from the Academy in 2016.
